In reflection, I consider my practice and its interaction with history and the world around me.

Design is a continuum — an ongoing mirror of society.

I am drawn to work with history, where you can see the inspiration of something and trace how it came to be. What makes me stop is work that is inherently unique but deeply rooted in design and art history.

Space and the Mind

The perspective of Classical Architects has taught me that space and form can shape how people feel, act, and connect to something greater than themselves.

No matter what I am designing, I return to the same foundation: that good design improves the human experience.

The Tension Between Old and New

There is a tension in my practice between the ancient and the technological that is not resolved — one I want to explore and give form to in my graduation project.

Something for the soul.

I want to create spaces that feel like stumbling into a hidden room, that permit childlike wonder, use light with levity and intention, the satisfaction of discovering something that was waiting to be found.
